It's been a while!

Wow it sure has been a while since I have posted some pics! Sorry! Abbey has become quite the character this last week. We have a baby einstein book with numbers and animals- Abbey can now make the cow sound "moo" which sometimes comes out backwards as "ooom" but she does it when she sees the cow page, she says duck and points them out on the page, she can say goat which sounds more like "doat" but it is the same sound every time she sees the goat page, she can growl like a tiger and my personal favorite that her Daddy taught her is to "walk like a penguin" she wobbles her little body and head back and forth like a penguin, it is way too cute! She can also show you where her toes and belly are, and she can show you where your nose and eyes are and she can say eyes. She is doing really well on the switch to milk she seems to like it more than formula, can't blame here there! She has 5 teeth now, she got one on the top by her big ones! She is walking very well now and can go pretty fast! She has also found a new "perch" as you will be able to see in th pictures below. She cuddles a lot at night and lays her head on Shane's chest it is pretty cute! I am feeling pretty good, just tired all the darn time- I hope that passes soon as I am now in the 2nd trimester. I did get to see the little one on the ultrasound screen and "he" (we don't know yet but we are going with he, however we called Abbey he too...) was jumping around all over the place! I did get a new due date of April 2nd. Enjoy the pictures!

1 Year Check Up

Well Abbey went for her 1 year check up with her Daddy today. She is just under the 50th percentile in weight and height and the doc is very happy with her! I had asked when to phase out the last feeding at 8 and he said as long as she is going to bed and sleeping until we wake up or a reasonable amount of time then I should just leave it alone, so that is what we will do for now. She is 20 lbs and has 5 teeth! She loves avocados, pudding, mashed potatoes, mandarin oranges, and mac and cheese. She had a few tastes of chili the other night- which was loaded with onions and chili powder and she like it- she only had the noodles and tomato sauce but it was still something she liked! She is not a happy camper right now as I type this, she is in her crib crying I am trying to get her to take a nap because Shane is working late and likes to see her before she goes to bed, but I am thinking that is not going to work but we will see I will give her 10 or 15 minutes then it will be bath time and bed for the night! We are feeling better around here and hopefully stay that way! I go to the OB next week so I will be sure to update. Pictures later this weekend I promise!
